We incorporate 3/8-inch (10mm) continuous polypropylene filament drainage mats (such as DuPont RainScreen or Keene Driwall) or pressure-treated marine composite furring strips over the primary Tyvek barrier. This creates an open, unobstructed vertical air cavity between the exterior cladding and the weather-resistive barrier.
